Kingdom Hearts is coming to the PS3, finally… kind of

We’ve been waiting for a Kingdom Hearts title to make its way to the PS3 since the beginning of this very long console generation and it’s finally happening. Just not the way you may have expected. Square-Enix has announced Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix for the PS3; an HD collection of some of the best Kingdom Hearts titles around. Strangely enough, Kingdom Hearts 2 is not in the mix. Doh!

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix- includes:
- KH Final Mix HD with Japanese voices
- KH Re:CoM HD
- KH 358/2 Days cutscenes remade in HD in theater mode

No release date announced  Expect it in 2013 according to the official site. If it’s anything like that Final Fantasy X HD remake Square-Enix announced a year ago, we’re gonna be waiting for awhile. We still don’t even have FF Type-0 yet.
